After welding to the nearside sill close to the wheel arch I now have another 12 months motoring. The mechanic said that the nearside wheel bearing will need changing in the near future - this must have been the noise I mentioned to you all a couple of months ago like a motorboating noise. Anyway they have quoted £90-00, for the job. Is this a fair price? podge. ps a donation is on the way.

If the £90 is inclusive of parts, labour & VAT then that doesn't sound too bad for a garage.
