Hi guy's another Newbie

Hi Guy's, Just thought I would introduce myself,. My Name is Chris, and I have a 2.9i Scorpio Ultima 12v that I have owned for about 10 yrs now. I have decided to give it some TLC as it has been stored in my garage for about 8 of those years. It needs a new engine and a new windscreen amongst other things, but the body and interior should have survived fairly well I think. Anyway enough of my ramblings, I am sure I will bore you all soon enough with rafts of silly questions. Cheers, Chris. Oh, I forgot to say I live in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Hi, The car is Aubergine and has a full Biscuit coloured leather interior, I just plan to put another 2.9 lump in, as the other one was cooked due to my temp gauge reading normal all the time, the oil turned to a black tar like substance and blocked all the oil passages then done for the big end bearings. I think that the body has survived largely intact due to it being in dry storage for so long, It had also had all of one side resprayed by a ford dealer after a bus clipped the front bumper, but could still do with the bonnet re sprayed as it was the only part my insurer would not do. I have some pictures of it in its glory days that I will try to upload. Could anyone shed a light on how I upload pics please?

Thanks for the link, I will give it a go soon. As far as colour goes, I too think that it shows the car off very well, the only colour that I would have preferred is Black...But Black is my favourite colour for all car's, and other than in direct sunlight it does look nearly Black anyway.

If you look at your post where I put the picture in for you by clicking "modify" you will see how I have done it for you. It really is quite easy, especially as you already host your pictures elsewhere. Give it a try!
