I took my Scorpio to the British Marques day at Brooklands on Sunday, it wasn't planned, as I intended to take my Morris but it had a problem, so it wasn't as well presented as it could have been.
However it turned out there was no vehicle age limit so I was welcome to take it in and it got a fair bit of favourable interest. It was an 80 mile round trip on mostly dual carriageways and it performed well, the mpg has now edged over 25.
I have also booked it in to the Bromley Pageant one make parking in June and an event in Dawlish in July, subject to acceptance.

This is a Classic Vehicle Gathering on the Lawn at Dawlish on Sunday 21st July from 10-4. Dawlish Town Council is putting it on to replace the defunct Devon Coastal Run which had its stop there last year. Entry is free but must be submitted by 21st June.
The Scorpio was way too young to qualify for the Coastal Run (which I've entered in various vehicles) but when I enquired about this event I was told I could bring whatever I liked. I have sent in the entry form so will see if I have taken them too literally. Fingers crossed.
I can scan an entry form for you if you like, or post the details on here?
